Travel Day, Part 2
We had just under 1 hr delay leaving LAX, (Air Canada) making our connecting flight in Montreal really tight. Our flight was 5.5 hrs and our connecting flight to Lisbon was already boarding. They let us and 12 others passengers get off first and we basically ran through the airport, also having to stop and scan our passports before we could go into the departing terminal. It was nerve racking to say the least, and not knowing if our backpacks got transferred.
Flight was just over 6 hrs to Lisbon. Lucky my air tag indicated our bags did get transferred. Getting through customs was interesting to say the least. Almost 1.5 hrs wait then we had to go to baggage claim, then jump on a 10 min metro train to the actual train station.
Now we are waiting for our train to take us to our final destination, Porto Portagual.
Part 3 to follow.
