Rest Day, Camino Walk, Pontevedra

 Miles- no technical Camino miles, but I walked about 7 miles around town, that’s crazy. Time- 0. Weather-sun w/ some high clouds, low 70’s. Today was our second scheduled rest day on our Camino Walk. Now it’s the push for the final 5 legs of our walk. It’s hard to believe we have only a hand full of days left to go. 

Today we started our day by going to the local bakery to have our coffee con letche and a pastry, then to a pharmacy to get Maryann something to help with her blister. Then we came back to our room. Maryann rested and I went out to explore Pontevedra. I found every old church in town, and many more interesting and cool sites. On the way back to the room I passed a Chinese Restaurant. Maryann was excited to say the least😂. But first we had to deal with our dirty laundry. Washing in a sink or shower works okay but once in a while they need a good scrubbing. Luckily there was self laundry-mat real close. Once the laundry was washed, folded and stored away it was time for an early dinner at Hong Kong Restaurant. We were happily surprised that all the food we got was really really good.👍🏻up for sure. Next it was back to our room, rested a little, made our plans for tomorrow’s walk. I went down stairs to the bar, enjoyed a nice cold Beer and peopled watched. Overall nice day. Pontevedra is mixture of really old building and new construction, and all people we have come in contact seem to be really nice. So on that note, enjoy the pics from my about today, Chow!!!
